More than a decade in the customer service industry has taught me — to succeed in it, you have to have a deep understanding of customers, their preferences, moods, and dislikes. You also have to understand what they will want in the future and give it to them without anyone asking. 

To understand what customers want and what they will expect of the teams in the future, I dove into customer service stats and facts. 

As we witness the evolution of the customer support industry and customer behavior, the need for a more profound understanding of both of them is growing. The more attention businesses will pay to the quality of customer support and the development of customer experience, the more likely they are to decrease churn and increase retention.
