    Cocoatech is a California-based app development company focused on optimizing productivity. Their flagship product, Path Finder, is an advanced file browser for macOS used by over a hundred thousand users in their twenty years in business as an alternative to Finder. In addition, Cocoatech develops Deckr, a browser extension created to make bookmarks sharable to find more areas of the web outside the  algorithms.

    The company needed to fill two part-time, short-term positions — a Social Media Specialist and a Fraud & Payment Specialist. With no dedicated HR or recruitment team, Cocoatech didn’t have the internal resources to manage the hiring process for these specialized roles. So, that’s when they turned to SupportYourApp for expert recruitment process outsourcing.

    The position was opened on December 6, 2024, and within just 10 days — on December 16 — the first and only candidate was introduced. 

    Since the first candidate proved to be a strong fit, there was no need to evaluate additional applicants, allowing the process to move forward efficiently.

    After a brief delay due to the point of contact being out of office, approval was granted on December 27. The candidate officially joined the team on January 7.

    Fraud and Payment Specialist Hiring Details

    The position was opened on December 6, 2024. SupportYourApp introduced five candidates for this role, with one ultimately approved by Cocoatech. 

    The company appreciated the onboarding and security training we provided for the new specialist — essential support for a role as sensitive as this one.
